SARATHI OS
A private personal AI operating system that helps its owner plan and run the day, using the owner’s own Google account data.
What SARATHI OS does
Plan the day
Reads the owner’s Google Calendar to show what is scheduled and when the owner is busy, so the day can be organised around it.
Stay on top of email
Optionally reads a small number of recent emails so the owner can see what may need a reply. This is switched off unless the owner turns it on.
Work from selected documents
Reads, and with the owner’s approval updates, a short list of Google Docs and Google Sheets that the owner has chosen in advance, such as a planning document or a tracking sheet.
How it treats Google data
- Mostly read-only. Calendar and Gmail are read-only: SARATHI OS does not send email or change calendar events. It can change selected Google Docs and Sheets, but only items the owner has pre-approved and only after the owner approves each action.
- One owner. Only the owner’s own Google account is connected. No one else’s Google data is accessed.
- Local. Google access credentials and the information SARATHI OS reads are kept on the owner’s computer, not on a SARATHI-operated server.
- No advertising, no sale. Google data is not used for advertising and is not sold. To provide answers, relevant excerpts may be processed by an external AI provider (OpenAI), and by Microsoft’s speech service if spoken replies are turned on; see the Privacy Policy.
- Revocable at any time. The owner can remove SARATHI OS’s access at any time from their Google Account permissions page.
SARATHI OS’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
